National Get rid of your Resolutions day

It was Christmas I had just received a package from my pen pal. As I teared opened the paper and it revealed a calendar of every national holiday. I was amazed to see how many there were. I opened the plastic film and looked at the first month.  To my surprise I scanned over the days to reveal a National ditch your resolutions day. Which to be clear i have to admit caught me off guard. when I make a resolution it's not suppose to last until the 17th but the entirety of the year. I know that alot of people don't last the entirety but seventeen days feels like not even a try to be honest.

If you set out resolutions I would say do you plan to keep them? I am assuming most of you do plan to work on them the entirety of the year. But Plans fail often ,correct? Well not exactly the thing is if you set your self up for success and you have the determination you'll be able to beat them over and over again. So what does it mean when I say "set yourself up for success". It means a couple of things to be honest. 1. be intentional, if you don't plan on doing something or committing then why list it? 2. don't go over board. Trust me going crazy with your resolutions can be to much. If you want to completely change your life this year go for it but start by introducing things slowly. 3. Know what your fighting for. 4. Prove the 17th wrong. Why stop if life gets crazy wake up a little earlier and cut out things like excessive time on social media. Things will be hard at first but just stick to it for 2 weeks.

There is a saying I really like It goes like this "In Two Weeks you'll feel it, In Four Weeks you'll See it and In Eight Weeks you'll Hear it." Think about everyone who has ever doubted you and how they'll feel when they see you committed to changing for the better. Be Productive, Be strong, Be different, Be unstoppable. Make 2019 your year for change. Embrace it and feel like your making a difference with yourself. Committing to change can be hard but there are so many people who have already done it. If you Want to change this year I personally recommend The Artist of Life workbook from Lavendaire.

I've used it the past 2 years and it's something I adore and love. This year I received mine as a gift! Can I say the person who gave it to me knew that it was the perfect gift as someone who needs change in there life. Be the person everyone wants to be this year. Punch out every goal you've made. Stay committed and strong and you'll be unstoppable. No matter what just keep in mind you'll fail at times and it's hard but the most important thing is that you get back up and learn from your mistakes.

Happy New year!
